It’s That Time – Easter Decorations!!

I love Easter decorations!! I love the colors, the pastels, pinks, blues, greens, lavenders, yellows. I love the bunnies, the baskets, the eggs and the feeling of springtime that they evoke. I think I love them so much because we live in an area that often gets a lot of snow and winter can really seem to drag on. This year is one of those winters. It is still cold, snowy and icy where I live and Easter is only two weeks away. I’m so tired of it and I just want spring. I want green grass, blue skies and warmer, longer days. Easter decorations help to remind me of the beauty and feeling of renewal we have coming around the corner. So in that spirit, let me share with you the Easter decorations I have collected over the years that I use to decorate the foyer or entry room in our home.

I like to hang colorful eggs on the greenery on my staircase.

And of course my coffee table has been redecorated with fun, colorful Easter items.

Love this wheelbarrow full of eggs:

And a springy, tulip and bunny arrangement:

And the soft, blue of this porcelain container:

The washstand in the corner of the room has changed as well.

The fun little pieces of this bunny village are very sweet:

Here’s some artwork to enhance the season:

Even my collection of Old Country Roses has some fun bunny pieces to add to the season:

And lastly, my Williraye collection gets changed to a springy decor at this time. I must admit I drive my husband a little crazy with this arrangement. He doesn’t like when I mix formal items with the informal. I like it – it’s kind of kooky and fun but to him the two should not mix. Of course in a house like ours, where the decor tends to be more formal, I find you have to mix them or everything becomes stuffy, stiff and too formal and there’s no room for more casual items like my Williraye collection. And I just love this collection. I find the figurines to be very funny and they just make me smile. How often do you see a girl standing on a giant ladybug or a girl being pulled in an easter egg by ducks? Pretty funny, right?

Thanks for allowing me to share my Easter/Spring decorations. Now if the outdoors could only match the indoors, all would be perfect.

Thanks for visiting. Please come again soon,
