Top 5 Posts of 2012
Although we’ve only been blogging since July of this year, we wanted to join in with the other bloggers who are doing a recap of their most popular projects from the year. We evaluated our stats from the past six months and here’s the five most popular projects that we posted for the year.
Project #1
Painted Upholstery, Decayed Elegance, New Canvas…What’s in a Name?
In this post, we took a dated French chair with stained upholstery from this…

to this..
What a beautiful transformation! And this was the first piece of furniture to be sold out of our booth at the Antique Depot. We hope the new owner loves this transformed piece as much as we did.
Project #2
My three legged table is really a six legged table with a beautiful wood marquetry top. This gorgeous coffee table went from this broken down mess…
to this beauty…
Project #3
This beauty now graces our bedroom.
Unfortunately, we do not have a before photo since it was painted before we began blogging, but let me tell you, the desk in its before state was a nasty eyesore and now it’s a softly painted work of art that graces the corner of our monochromatic bedroom.
Project #4
French Typography on a “Plain Jane” Table
Another beautiful French inspired piece, this table went from plain…
This was a fun piece to both design and paint and we love the results!
Project #5
A Fun Collaboration in French Style
I love it. I just realized that four of our top five posts feature projects with a French influence in their design. This last piece is no exception. This simple drum table went from this…
to this…
This was a fun collaboration between the two of us as I based the piece and picked the body color and Paul painted the beautiful floral design on it. Paul’s painting of the florals and bird is one of my all time favorites. And I truly think he outdid himself on this one.
Thanks for joining us for our top five project posts. We expect 2013 to be a very productive year and we have a couple room redos in store for you as well. So come back and visit soon and often.
Thanks for visiting,
Cathy
